Family Dentistry Services
Family dentistry at Grabiel, Mills & Wilkie, DDS focuses on risk assessment, general maintenance of oral hygiene and tooth health. With your good maintenance at home and a regular schedule of our careful cleanings, we can keep plaque buildup around the teeth to a minimum, so that tooth decay is eliminated and cavities are filled, and that gums remain healthy.
We recommend (as does the American Dental Association) every family member visit for a checkup a minimum of two times each year for cleanings to eliminate plaque buildup and prevent tooth decay. We can provide other preventive services like fluoride treatments or oral cancer screenings. This preventative method can detect oral health problems long before the onset of symptoms.
X-rays are used to detect cavities and other tooth and jaw problems. If a cavity is detected during a checkup, we can schedule a simple dental filling before it develops into a more serious problem that may require a crown, dental implant, root canal, or other restorative procedure.
Should more complex services like orthodontics, crowns or implants be necessary, our office is up to the task. We can also help you make the most of your smile with teeth whitening, cosmetic bonding and porcelain veneers.
